CBC was started in 1948 and has an established reputation as a vocational school.
In addition to their Japanese language program, they also have trade, hotel industry,
Japanese education and other programs.
The College has 7 to 8 levels from Basic to Advanced insuring you will be placed
in the level right for you. Curriculum is well-balanced with focus on reading
and writing, conversation skills, going on to higher education and working in
Japan and others. The college prides itself on giving students well-rounded skills
in all areas, not only language.
There are many cultural events every year. For example, in August there is
the biggest festival in Kawasaki, the Sanno Festival. Every year, around 40 boys
and girls carry "Omikoshi", a portable shrine, and parade the city of
Kawasaki. This event has been taken place by the help of "Kawasaki Higashi
Lions Club" since 1988, and now it is one of the biggest events of CBC. After
the festival, the students are invited to a lunch party by the Club.
Also, CBC has connections with students from Universities, elementary and high
schools in the area and often host events, giving students chances to interact
with the locals, as well as special events such as Korean language circle, Sports
clubs, circles, and other events.
The school is located in Kawasaki, which is conveniently located between Tokyo
and Yokohama, offering a relatively quiet and safe atmosphere to learn. Students
can take the train to reach both city centers inexpensively and quickly.
